Plans Continue to Unfold for Annual Leadership Conference… Brad Cohen Slated for Opening Keynote
This year’s Leadership Conference will focus on our students…hearing their hearts, developing their minds, and helping prepare them to fulfill their purpose in life…which is our purpose as educators. Opening keynote speaker Brad Cohen will share his unique story and inspiring message in his presentation, "The Power of One." PMDN Affiliates Reunite at PAEC
From 1986 until 1996 a talented and dedicated group of individuals from seventeen school districts and colleges coordinated the training and development of future school leaders in Florida's Region 1. Recently these educators met at PAEC in Chipley for a reunion. They enjoyed renewing old acquaintances and catching up with each other, and made plans to get together on an annual basis. Full Story.

Member Districts Honor Outstanding Teachers and Non-Instructional Employees
Many of the PAEC member districts honor their outstanding teachers and non-instructional employees by choosing a district Teacher of the Year and School-Related Employee of the Year. These district winners represent all the wonderful individuals in their school district who work so hard each day to make a difference in the lives of students. Patriot Project Participants Visit State Capital
Thirty-three teachers from PAEC districts are currently participating in the Patriot Project, a Teaching American History Grant. The goal of the Patriot Project is to enhance students’ appreciation for and understanding of our American heritage by increasing their teachers’ content and pedagogy knowledge. For the past two years, these teachers have participated in seminars, workshops, projects and field trips which have helped them design even more creative, engaging and authentic American History lessons for their students. Employees in the Spotlight
PAEC is filled with dedicated and talented workers with a heart for helping school and district leaders, teachers, students and families achieve their goals.
