Relational Aggression: What We Know and What We Can Do About It

What can be done to reduce the acts of covert aggression that occur far too often in our elementary schools? During this broadcast, Dr. Charisse Nixon describes the basic research related to relational aggression, within the context of human development. She also provides strategies, that may be used by educators, to effectively address this insidious behavior. Dr. Nixon, an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at Penn State University, Erie, Pennsylvania, currently serves as the Research Director for The Ophelia Project and conducts workshops on relational aggression in elementary and middle schools throughout the country.
