Project Services
GECC was formed in 1978 by small school districts in North Florida to share computer software and technical staff. There are presently 14 member districts with Washington County School Board as district of record. Gateway project was brought to PAEC in 1990 when Bay County School purchased an in house IBM computer. The TERMS Financial/Human Resources System is installed at North West Regional Data Center in Tallahassee an is accessed by remote terminals at each of the district offices. Technical support Computer programs are maintained by the three gateway staff members.
