This session will provide information on the three principles of Universal Design for Learning. The session will provide information on the use of alternate response modes to support UDL in the classroom. Each participant will receive information on free websites and resources for using alternate response modes.
As a result of this training participants will: identify the three principles of Universal Design for Learning; identify alternate response modes to assist in UDL implementation; implement the use of the alternate response modes; and evaluate the effectiveness of the alternate response modes based on student data.
Students will participate in the general curriculum through the use of an alternate response mode.
