Simple blue bar with two links, one to PAEC web site and one to David's Desk.

Basic Skill Sets

  1. Content - Remember that you do have something to share or exchange. This is the "why" we create web sites to begin with.
  2. Layout & Design for All - As you create a visual page layout, remember to be creating the accommodated visual layout (large type, etc.), as well as the audio page layout. The purpose of a layout is to help people organize and chunk information. Once you have a system, be consistent in using it.
  3. Use of Tags and Styles - Using tags and styles for formatting ensures that the behind the scenes code is appropriate and usable by screen readers.
  4. Use of Alt Text - Get in the habit of providing alternative text for all images.
