Simple blue bar with two links, one to PAEC web site and one to David's Desk.

Tagged PDFs ensure that:

  1. Information is in the correct reading order on a page.
  2. Text reflows correctly through the use of paragraph attributes.
  3. All text can be translated into Unicode, a universal standard to describe text characters, regardless of font. This helps screen readers recognize ligatures and hyphens.
  4. All text can be exported reliably to Rich Text Format for use in other programs.

NOTE: Using the styles results in a list of all sections of text by style in the document. When converting to PDF, you can select any of the listed style segments and have Acrobat automatically create a bookmark to that section, providing navigation support for users.
