Welcome to a series of television broadcasts that demonstrate the power of technology in the classroom. Doing What Works: Effective Technology in the Classroom focuses on how technology can be used to provide quality instruction to all students. Program topics include:

    • Effective Technology: Reading

    • Effective Technology: Writing
    • Effective Technology: Scanners & Graphics
    • Effective Technology: Digital Audio

Each episode includes a companion website with additional resources and information related to the episode topic. There are also online activities that participants can complete to earn inservice credit. Each online activity includes a classroom project designed to guide the participant through implementing a new instructional technology strategy.

All of these episodes include great grant writing tips, classroom strategies, and technology ideas that will empower teachers to provide quality instruction to all students. Whether you teach a gifted class or a remedial class, whether your students are working on a regular diploma or a special diploma, these broadcasts are for you.
