Fall Conference 2007
This fall at the annual Florida Association of Partners in Education conference, Dr. Hobart Harmon and Tony Carvajal presented as keynote speakers before a group of School volunteers and administrators. Hobart Harmon, a private consultant, shares his new book Creating Parent and Family Involvement: 101 ideas for Teachers who care and talks about how schools must create a family-friendly environment that supports teachers and parents in sharing the responsibility for all students to achieve success in public schools. Tony Carvajal provides a healthy dose of insight into the organizational and entrepreneurial challenges associations, government agencies and businesses face. He applies his 20 plus years of human resource and management expertise and takes audiences through an interactive and entertaining look at performance, innovation and creativity.

Commissioner's Business Recognition Awards (2008)
Florida's Commissioner of Education Eric J. Smith was on hand to present The Commissioner's Business Recognition Awards at the 34th Annual FAPE spring conference. This ceremony is a gala event held each year during the FAPE spring conference, and was established to salute Florida's businesses and communities that have made significant contributions to improve the quality of education in their county.
