Lt. General Russel L. Honore (Ret.) To Deliver Keynote at 47th Annual FloridaLearns Foundation/PAEC Leadership Conference

Retired Lieutenant General Russel Honore knows something about Leadership. He is the former Commanding General of the First Army, Former Commanding General of the 2d Infantry Division in Korea, Former Deputy Commanding General of the United States Army Infantry Center and School in Ft. Benning, Georgia and many other premier leadership positions in the United States Army.

He is most widely known as the man who led the Department of Defense response to Hurricane Katrina. Through his leadership, he provided relief, security, and expertise to an entire region as our fellow Americans emerged from the ruins of one of the worst disasters in our nation’s history.

General Honore has inspired thousands with his leadership skills, his knowledge of preparedness, and his ability to overcome obstacles in the wake of disaster. His presentation will inform, inspire, and motivate current and future school leaders to fully understand that “failure is not an option”.
