PAEC School Districts Preparing for End of Course Exams

A collaborative effort by school districts, working in conjunction with the Central Florida Assessment Collaborative (CFAC), are now positioned to meet new “End of Course” requirements by having increased access to a broad selection of content to choose from when they design the 2014-15 End of Year Course assessments for their districts. This means that each district PAEC district will be able to comply with new state mandates that require end of course assessments in every subject area.

According to Kay Brewton, PAEC Consultant, “The tremendous effort of all of us working together resulted in our ability to maximize our efforts and avoid duplication. Hopefully, it will take a huge load off all of our members. “

The Florida Legislature passed the new initiatives to assist with teacher evaluations for use in allocating points for school and district accreditation.
