| Brain Awareness Conference 2005 March 19 (9:00 AM-3:30 PM) Central Time Freeport High School Freeport, FL This conference is sponsored by the Defuniak Springs Pilot Club Brain Disorder Support Foundation; Anchor Clubs of Freeport, South Walton, and Walton High Schools; and Pilot Club International. The conference features presentations for the entire family of those affected by any brain-related disabilities, and persons interested in learning more about brain-related disabilities. Inservice credit is available for educators through PAEC/FDLRS, and CEU credit for Health CAre Professionals and Mental Health Professionals is available through the conference. Skilled respite care is available for all ages and types of disabilities, from pre-schoolers with disabilities to grandparents with dementia. Transportation is available in Walton, Holmes, and Washington Counties through the Tri-County Council. Requests for transportation and/or respite care must be included on the advance conference registration form. Information about the conference is available by contacting 850-892-5687.
