Welcome to a place that can completely change right in front of you. A place that can change in ways you have never before imagined, a place that can become something you have never seen. You won't find it on a globe; it's not a city, town, state or country. It's a state of being; it's the spirit of learning and growing - a place called Planet Discovery. All Planet Discovery expeditions are designed to guide you through four focus areas: 1) land, 2) ocean, 3) air, 4) space. Land has great software links. Ocean helps with smooth sailing through classroom activities. Air helps us get the big picture in education, teaching strategies and professional development. Space is our launching point to other worlds through the Internet. Join us in exploring creativity, achievement, your students, and yourself. Explore Planet Discovery. ToolsYou can't explore a planet without the right tools. Here you will find Acrobat Reader, Quicktime and several file decompression tools. LandThe land provides the basics. Here you will find software, information on how to fit technology to students, and lots of tutorials, such as how to use Office 2000. OceanLooking for a lesson plan or classroom activity? Come sailing on an ocean full of things students love to do! AirCome up high into the air to get the big picture. Learn how to build and enhance student achievement with new teaching strategies. Includes teacher performance measures and Sunshine State Standards Grade Expectations. SpaceThe Internet is a gateway to cyberspace. Here are resources and materials to help integrate the Internet into the classroom.
