Progress Energy Foundation Provides Professional Development Experience
For Science Teachers
The Progress Energy Foundation, through a grant written by the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium, afforded a group of nine science teachers, all from Progress Energy-served school districts in the Panhandle of Florida, the opportunity to attend the National Science Teachers Association Annual Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. Daphne Hill, science teacher at Jefferson County High School in Monticello, Florida, provides a brief description of the grant participants' experiences, while at the conference, in a video clip that may be viewed by selecting the video icon.
