Course Description: This course provides information on free web-based resources that can be used to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics. Participants will discover how to find interactive math applets, Internet-based lesson plans, and projects that utilize technology.
Course Objectives:
Participants will gain awareness level knowledge about:
1. Internet resources for interactive math applets, lesson plans,
and projects that utilize technology
2. Technology tools that can be used to help students better
comprehend algebraic concepts.
Course Assessment:
A certificate of completion will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the online assessment after viewing the video program.

Professional Development Points: 2
Completing all activities provided would take approximately 10 hours. Therefore, it's recommended that 10 professional development points be awarded (2 for watching the video and completing the assessment, 8 for completing all follow-up activities). However, follow-up activities may be further enhanced for additional professional development credit. This is a local option.
