The Partnership for Reading offers information about the effective teaching of reading for children, adolescents, and adults, based on the evidence from quality research. The Partnership invites you to explore this site for information on the research, principles about reading instruction suggested by the research, and products for parents, teachers, administrators, and policy-makers.
Florida Online Reading Professional Development (FOR-PD) is an online staff development project designed to help teachers improve reading instruction for learners in grades preK-12. Their resources link is excellent!
The Florida Center for Reading Research conducts applied research on reading, reading growth, reading assessment and reading instruction that will contribute to the scientific knowledge of reading and have an immediate impact on policy and practices related to literacy instruction and assessment. The center also disseminates disseminate information about research-based practices related to literacy instruction and assessment for children in pre-school through 12th grade.
