We were both born in Idaho and raised in Idaho and
Utah. We attended Utah State University where we met each other in the communicative disorders
program. We were married during our Senior year (if you want to know the whole detailed story,
just ask, but make sure you have plenty of time) and attended grad school together to obtain
M.S. degrees in Speech-Language Pathology.
After doing internships in schools, clinics, and hospitals in Utah and Pennsylvania, we
graduated in May 2007 and started looking for a challenge, adventure, and a place to help
children communicate better. We decided to take the opportunity to move to Florida and work
with children in Washington County School District. We found just what we were looking for!
