| I was born and raised in Sneads, Florida. I attended and
graduated from Sneads High School in 1971. After graduation I attended a Christian school,
Harding College in Searcy, Ark. for one year then came back and went to Chipola Jr..
College. It was there I met my husband Millard from Graceville, Flo. We were married in
less than a year. I began working as an aide at Graceville Middle School. Then we moved to
Tallahassee. A year later we moved back to Graceville. After being married three years we
were blessed with a daughter, Shelly and 16 months later we had a son (Brantley). I was a
stay at home mom until Brantley started Kindergarten. After my children started to school
I did too. I finished my degree at Troy State in 1985. Up to last year I have taught in
Jackson County. I have taught Second Grade for the most of my teaching career, however I
have taught Kindergarten and ESE. I have been teaching for 18 years and I still enjoy
watching children learn. It is still exciting! I am a proud grandmother of one grandchild.
In case you haven't heard, his name is DREW! |
