To tell you a little about myself, I am a graduate
of Florida State University, where I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary
Education. I also have obtained a master's degree in Educational Leadership from
the University of West Florida. This is my sixth year teaching third grade at Kate
Smith and I absolutely love it!
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and our daughter, Ryleigh.
I also enjoy shopping, eating, traveling, especially to the mountains and beach.
As for teaching, I feel it is my duty to provide a safe learning environment for
learning to take place. I believe all children can learn, however, a teacher must
know their students as individuals and as learners. My goal is for students to
embrace learning opportunities with confidence and with a positive attitude!
