I was born in South Bend,
Indiana - home of Notre Dame and the Fighting Irish! My Dad moved the family to
his childhood home of Vernon in 1968, where I attended high school.
I am married to Neal Lively, who is employed by Gulf Power, and have twin
sons, Ben and Matt.
I earned my bachelor’s and master's degrees in Psychology with a minor in education,
at the FSU campus in Panama City. I taught ESE for a total of 17 years at Vernon Elementary
and Kate Smith Elementary. Since I have been teaching 3rd grade, I am told that
my classroom is very orderly. I like structure, and my favorite subject to teach
is Language Arts.
My hobbies are working outside in my yard and listening to and singing
Christian music.
