| I was born and raised in Pensacola and graduated from High
School in 1967. In 1968, I married my high school sweetheart. In 1971, we followed my
parents and made Chipley our home. My husband has worked with Bellsouth for the past 31
years. I have a daughter who teaches second grade at Kate Smith and a son who lives in
Tallahassee and is employed with Sprint. My career started here at Kate Smith as a
teacher assistant. In 1985, I went back to school to obtain my Elementary Education Degree
from Florida State University. I have taught first grade for the past fifteen years.
Through this experience, I have thoroughly enjoyed my teaching career and found it very
rewarding. |
