Born in Chipley and attended Kate Smith, Roulhac Middle,
and Chipley High School. Married to Randy Peel. Have one daughter, Jenna. I am a member of
First Baptist Church of Chipley and Delta Kappa Gamma. Received AA degree from Chipola and B.S.
degree from University of West Florida. Had a double major in elementary education and specific learning
disabilities. Added certification in EMH and early childhood education. Master's degree in
elementary education. Taught ESE for my first 7 years at KMS. Since that time, have been
teaching kindergarten where I have the privilege of introducing children to one of their
first school experiences and the joy of seeing their curiosity and enthusiasm for
learning.
Here are some of my favorite websites for student exploration:
Starfall (A young Reader's website)
Adventures in Books (A summer AR type program for reading)
These links as well as many more are listed on our
Activies to Keep You Sharppage.
Luau 2008
In September, we celebrated the end of our ocean unit with a luau. Activities included a
hula dance performed by the girls in our class and a limbo contest enjoyed by all,
..........
the tacky tourist relay race
..........
and lots of delicious island snacks.

We hated to say “aloha” to this unit!

COWBOY DAY 2008

After a unit on Cowboys and Rodeos, we enjoyed COWBOY DAY! As you can see in the photos below,
we have some of the best cowboys and cowgirls ever! They raced stick horses and chuckwagons,
jumped in sack races, panned for gold, and roped bulls. Then at the end of the trail, we
gathered around the campfire for some cactus juice, beef jerky, sunflower seeds, sausage sticks,
and trail mix. After that, we were ready for the bunkhouse.
