I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida but have lived
in Chipley for five years. I am married, have two children - five and two
years and am a member of First Baptist Church Chipley.
I graduated summa cum laude from Saint Leo University with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Elementary Education and am a member of the Collegiate National Honor Society.
While teaching over the past four years here at Kate M. Smith I have been a Behavior
Modification Teacher, 5th grade teacher, and currently teach 4th grade. I am
certified as a Reading Coach. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Master’s Degree
in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I will complete my courses in the Fall of 2007.
As a teacher at Kate Smith I have served in several extracurricular capacities. I have been Team Chairperson, 5th Grade Spelling
Bee and Tropicana Speech Coordinator, and Relay for Life Chairperson. I have been a sponsor
of the K-Kids for two years..
My hobbies include reading, going to the beach and spending time
with my family. |
