Welcome to the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS). The FDLRS network provides diagnostic and instructional support services to district exceptional student education programs statewide. FDLRS / PAEC is an integral part of district efforts to provide quality services to the educational community through implementation of state educational goals and priorities.
The FDLRS Network includes nineteen Associate Centers that serve from one to nine school districts. These Centers collaborate with districts, agencies, communities and other personnel and educational entities, providing education and support for teachers, parents, therapists, school administrators, and students with exceptionalities. Each Center includes specialists in the areas of Child Find, Human Resources Development (HRD), Parent Services, and Technology. FDLRS/PAEC is an associate center serving Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, Walton and Washington Counties.
Center activities focus on enhancement of learner outcomes, increased student achievement, partnerships between families and professionals, early childhood identification and evaluation, professional development, assistive and instructional technology and interagency collaboration. Services are available to district, agency, community and other personnel working with students with disabilities and their families.
FDLRS provides services under the following four functions:
Child Find – Early Childhood Screening and Service Planning
Human Resource Development (HRD) – Professional Development and Support for Teachers
Parent Services– Partnerships between Families and Schools Training and Support
Technology – Instructional, Assistive and Communication Technology Support and Training
Local Asssistive Technology Support for the following districts:
Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Walton, Washington

New Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Parent Involvement Website
Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) is announcing the launch of a new ESE parent involvement website. This site is designed specifically to assist parents as they navigate the ESE process, from pre-k through transition to college and/or career. The parent involvement website provides valuable information and resources related specifically to students with disabilities and ESE services.
