The 2022 joint PAEC and FloridaLearns Foundation 55th Leadership Conference will take place at the amazing Hotel Effie Sandestin, located at 1 Grand Sandestin Boulevard, Miramar Beach, Florida. Hotel Effie is a luxury hotel between the waters of the Gulf and Choctawhatchee Bay. The cut-off date to receive the group rate for reservations is Friday, June 17, 2022, at 5:00 PM. After the cut-off date, it is at the hotel’s discretion to accept additional reservations, which will be subject to availability at the group rate.

Cancellation Information:
To avoid cancellation penalties, you must cancel the reservation by 12:00 A.M. seven days prior to arrival. Cancellations made within seven days of arrival are subject to a fee equivalent to two nights’ room and tax.
Additional Information:
Hotel Effie Sandestin requires a one night’s room deposit to be received within ten (10) days after a reservation is made, or it will be canceled. Final payment of entire reservation will be charged to the credit card provided by guest upon departure.

Cancellation Information:
A prepayment deposit has been applied to your accommodation. Should you need to cancel or change your reservation, please do so at least 7 days before arrival. A full refund of the deposit will be given for cancellations given 7 days before arrival. Any remaining balance will be charged within 7 days before arrival. If canceling within 7 days of arrival, there will be forfeiture of the entire reservation amount.
Non-arrival on the scheduled day of arrival will result in a no-show. We will begin canceling all no-show reservations at 7 am CST the day after the scheduled day of arrival. All no-show reservations result in a forfeiture of the entire reservation's amount.
ADDITIONAL HOTEL INFORMATION
- The conference negotiated daily resort fee is $6.00 of the pre-tax amount of the daily room rate. The resort fee covers items including, but not limited to:
- Complimentary resort transportation
- Two bicycles per unit for up to four hours of usage daily
- Fitness center usage
- One hour per day of tennis court time (based on availability)
- One hour per day usage on either a canoe, kayak, or boogie board
- Wi-Fi in the Hotel Effie Sandestin, Baytowne and Linkside Conference Centers
- Reservation processing services
- Self-parking will be complimentary.
- Conference rates will apply three days pre and post contracted meeting dates based on availability.
- The hotel check-in time begins at 4:00 PM and check out time is 10:00 AM. The bell captain will arrange to hold luggage for guests attending functions on the day of departure so that they may check out to avoid late charges.
- Final payment of entire reservation will be charged to the credit card provided by guest upon departure.
