Monique Burr Foundation Child and Teen Safety Matter Certified Facilitator Training


PAEC Resilience Hub hosted the Monique Burr Foundation Child and Teen Safety Matter Certified Facilitator Training; upon completion, participants are equipped to implement comprehensive, evidence-based, trauma-informed programs that educate and empower students with information and strategies to prevent, recognize, and respond appropriately to all types of child abuse, exploitation, trafficking, bullying, cyberbullying, and digital danger. A special thank you to Beth Dudjak, the MBF Florida Outreach Manager for facilitating the training! 

Non-Instructional Resiliency Convening – Resources & Relationships


PAEC Resilience Hub hosts its 1st  Non-Instructional Resiliency Convening – Resources & Relationships. This workshop was adapted to a virtual format based on the book A Framework for Understanding Poverty by Ruby K. Payne and facilitated by National AHA Process Certified Trainer, Dr. JoWanda Rollins-Fells. Participants were equipped with a lens through which to see their opportunities to be a champion in their roles within their schools. Participants pledge to be that one supportive person in the lives of students!

On September 7, 2023, PAEC Resilience Hub Team, Keke Lee and Ana Najera-Santana shared Resiliency Resources with parents, students, and staff at the Gadsden County High School 9th Grade Rites of Passage Ceremony and Open House.
